Oliphant-Mason Nigerian Adventure!

A big thank you to all of you Cornerstone members that prayed for Pastor Buck and Lynn and David and Matthew as they traveled to see us here in Nigeria!  Their trip was a great success and a huge encouragement to us!

Buck and Lynn
Buck and Lynn

This is Buck and Lynn on an outreach to a village to the North of Jos.  They worked on a counseling team that ministered to people after they had received medical care.  More than 120 people, many of them Muslim,  prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior during this outreach.

Please pray for the local Nigerian missionary pastor as he follows up all these new believers.

I hope these pictures help capture some of what Buck and Lynn and Matthew and David experienced while here in Jos.

Here is the team all suited up in the OR at Evangel Hospital.  They got to see first hand all that Joel is doing in the hospital.

Buck got a chance to preach four times while in Jos.  Here he is sharing a Word of encouragement with students at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary.

Here is Lynn sporting a Nigerian dress on an outreach to "Blind Town," Jos.  Buck and Lynn joined us on this outing into this Muslim slum where the blind, lepers and handicapped live in very poor conditions.  We share the love of Christ through medicine and basic helps.

Here is Matthew with the boys at Transition House.  The soccer ball is one of the many gifts sent to these boys by Cornerstone.  These boys are former street boys or orphans that live at Transition House and are being educated and discipled in Christ.
