They're Off!
Topic: Family
Joel and Cindy and the kids are on their way to Nigeria! David Mason reports that they went yesterday (Saturday) to the airport and successfully checked in all 35 of the boxes they had packed, which was a real relief. As I write this, they should be soon arriving in Nigeria.

Please feel free to post comments for them to read once they are able to get online. They'll be accessing the internet via an internet cafe. They are very excited about communicating with you via this tool.

Hi! We were so glad you and all your boxes made it to Nigeria. Know that we will continue to pray for your mission every day. I have a girl in my homeroom who is from Nigeria. Her name is Eniola Audu. She told me Friday that she also speaks Housa (sp?). The kids asked how I knew about that and I had a chance to share with them what you guys are

Just wanted you to know that we are praying for you.
We pray that your adjustment to life in Jos will be smooth and that the kids will learn to love their new home. What an exciting adventure the Lord has bestowed upon you.

Just want to share that one of the highlights of my Sunday worship was watching Allison pour out her heart to the Lord in song. She lives out Matthew 21:16. I know that He will use her in Nigeria to bless others with her enthusiastic praise.

I am so excited for you all. It is unbelievable how many Nigerians I have run across in the last few days. They are all Christian and so happy to hear that you are both medical missionaries as the people of Jos (they all love the cool Jos countryside) really need that additional benefit that you all will provide. Every single Nigerian I have talked to has actually been to Jos and seemsto think it is the most beautiful land the country has to offer. Know that you are in their prayers, one even called me back as he lost the paper I had written your names on. I will be meeting with that one again next week and if you would think it appropraite will provide this website address to him (and he will share it with his 8 son's). Please provide us all your addresses so we can try the mail service, too!
